Daily Makeup Routine

Wash
I begin each morning by washing my face with the Beauty Counter Soothing Face Wash. It is so light and just makes your skin feel so fresh!

Moisturize
Up until recently I NEVER put moisturizer on my face. All of the ones I had tried made me look so oily. Enter Tula Hydrating Day & Night Cream. The best ever. Feels great on my skin and has amazing benefits. I also just bought this MAC Oil Control Lotion that I put on my neck area.

Makeup
Since my skin tends to get oily throughout the day, I skip the primers and use this Givenchy Matifying Toner Lotion. IT is worth every cent, in my opinion.

I always apply my mascara first because it seems to get all over my eyelids no matter what I do. I have used the Diorshow Black Out for YEARS. I've cheated on it a few times, and always go back to it.

Next, I apply my eye liner. I use the Tarteist Clay Paint Liner. This is the easiest "liquid" liner to apply thanks to the curved brush that it comes with.

To cover dark areas under my eyes and trouble spots around my chin area, I use this Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in 'Vanilla'. This concealer by Maybelline is an AMAZING drug store alternative for under $10! I go through this like crazy. I mostly use it on casual days when I don't wear much makeup and save my Nars concealer for when I'm actually dressing up and going out.

I have the same problems with foundations as I do with moisturizers. A lot of them are too heavy and make my skin feel gross and oily. I use the Beauty Counter Tint Skin Foundation for my dressier days and the Garnier BB Cream for my more casual days. I LOVE the Garnier cream. It has amazing coverage, has SPF and the price is right. I keep this Bobbi Brown Powder in my purse for touch ups.

For eyeshadow, I typically alternate between this Chanel Travel Makeup Palette, the Urban Decay Naked Palette and this Bobbi Brown Nude on Nude Palette.

Eyebrows. My goodness, I have some unruly eyebrows. They definitely have a mind of their own. I use the Bobbi Brown Brow Kit to fill them in and Anastasia Brow Gel to tame them.

I don't always bronze... but when I do, I use the Chanel Soleil Tan Bronzer. I really like the creamy gel texture. It goes on so smooth and can be worn with or without any face makeup.

I am pretty partial to the Bobbi Brown Apricot color for my blush.

Lastly, I end with the Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder. It helps control oil and brings everything together for a blended finish.

I always finish with lips. I apply the Lip Slip first for conditioning, then add whatever lipstick I decide on. Some of my favorite lipsticks are YSL in #7 'Lingerie Pink' and Chanel in #99 'Pirate'.
